I was looking forward to coming back to Malaysia, and good thing, I am glad to be back. My life is back in shape, i guess... despite from being lazy for the past month. So far, i haven't accomplished much...

BUT... I've finally gotten my ass to take my driving license... I've attended a wonderful 11 hours (5+6) course... which had taught me pretty much about the road signs and all that crap... not forgetting checking the engine, and replacing a flat tire -_- DREADFUL, no joke. I think i slept throughout the 10 hours, plus 1 one hour being abit alert, only coz I get to munch a packet of Mr. Potato chips... -_- I've finally took my Undang test... as i was bragging to some of u... being the MOST FREE person in the world, i'd better get full marks :D Luckily i did. I am intelligent, lol. ya right... was practically memorising all 500 questions given to practice. Only 50 questions are out anyway. Right now, I'm waiting for my L license, and will start my lil adventure in the "Sedang Belajar Memandu" little Kancil. Can't wait!!! But then again... was thinking... Back in Canada, u have bigbig nice Chrysler cars to learn driving. What lah.

Food. Ah, how can u ever resist Malaysian food? heeheehee... I believe i've managed to have all that I have been craving for when I was still in Canada... yummy yummy... [And just all of a sudden... i start to miss western! Suddenly thought of Moxie's Salmon Cappelini... Sirloin & Shrimp... Grilled Chicken with wild mushrooms... NY steak...] wah wah wah this is driving me crazy....BUt ah main point... I'm eating alot man. Result = Extra chubby me. I think it's high time for me to lose those extra pounds and get back in shape. What to do, ada orang dah komplain komplain ni... Stress weh!

Was hunting for the perfect job, I think i've got one... but not 100% confirmed... (will update more when the time comes). Cry cry cry, Winnie's jobless, Winnie's lazy. Being lazy i realize, takes up an astounding amount of time, really. I really gotta start working lah... besides having NO INCOME (sobz)... my lack of independence is sapping my energy... Then again, things are moving lah, i think...

I guess, that's about all for this rambling, not-much-info update... I hope I'll start posting regularly hehe... but no promises lah...

So much things to do, but so little time. Yet, i'm still procrastinating...
There's something about intersession classes. Short and fun, but hectic and you just don't know where to start. I have 9 chapters to study for my coming midterm on Tuesday. 9 CHAPTERS... that's 300 pages... bwahhh... I shouldn't be complaining much, since I am only occupied with this freaking course currently. It's International Marketing, btw. One word - BORING.

I have this big major assignment which is giving me a hard time. Doing this research on Italy... for a likely success of a new particular company in Italy itself. DREADFUL, i tell u. And and and, there's something about group assignments. 4 guys & 1 gurl, yes me -_-. & as usual, they're the not-so-hardworking ones... u know what i mean. WHICH means... here's a shitty group project for my final course. -just don't know what expression to show-

YESTERDAY, it rained so heavily that...
i was soaking wet. It's as if i just got out from the pool with a top, jeans, cap and bag.
There goes my books, cell, watch, and all that lil stuff, ya know...
not forgetting my precious slippers... it was gonna go into the bin soon, but i told myself to take good care of it, so that i dont have to burn some cash on the unreasonably priced slippers here in Canada. [ok fine, coz i like Aldo] ... & now with the dang rain. SOBz
My housemate had a great laugh when he saw me walking into the house. i just didn't
know what to say to him. He was thinking that it was stupid for me to walk under the rain.
But u know, the rain in Canada is so unpredictable that, it'll just POUR - like a bucket of water
poured on ur head - WHENEVER it feels like it. I was walking home from uni... just about 30 steps to reach home, and the rest was... history -_-. *sneeze sneeze*

I almost went nuts today. My darn internet koneksi was driving me mad!! The wholeee day... yes, the whole damn day!!! My genius finally came to our rescue at 11pm. I wished i had called u earlier!! The holidays are finally here. Pretty not used to it, as the past 4 months have been nothing, but hectic... 4 years back, I thought to myself, I am going to enjoy my final semester... I sure was wrong. Never-ending assignments, never-ending presentations, never-ending exams -_- It really never ends throughout the semester. But anwyz, i'm all good now, finally.

The weather is wonderfully wonderful. Welcome Spring :)
Bye bye to the Gloomy winter weather. grr.

I cook Nasi Lemak yesterday. hehe, I believe I have spiced up everyone's lives. SPICY!!
My coconut rice was a success! All thanks to TsaoYee for the Pandan Leaves.
I'm gonna polish up my cooking, and can buka gerai in the future bwahaha.

Did some travellings last weekend. London & Toronto. For the fact that SC was assigned to work in the Toronto branch for a day, i tagged along :) It was sucha relaxing trip, i wish it didn't end ♥. Finally got to do and go places which we failed to visit for the past few trips in the past... Chinatown shopping for fruits & seafood [haha aunty material], managed to have the very yummy GamjaTang (Pork bone soup) with Wisnu & July at Yonge St., cruising along Highway 7 to look for the dessert cafe Ryan once brought us, Ikea!! for our $1 breakfast, u really cant find this ANYWHERE else...

Too bad the weather wasn't that great. Still really chilly in Toronto as compared to Windsor. Anyhow, Toronto is a great place. Hope to be there in June, for Wonderland again!!! Hintzzz :)

Fickle minded me. I kinda miss going to classes - for the sake of getting my arse out. Let's just say, I have nothing to do at home. I have no where to go [i mean, in Windsor] blah, need to do something!!
Currently still doing my job hunting. Gotta be prepared before I finish my FINAL of the final course in June. I'm back to having the eagerness to work. I wanna be part of the gang, ya know... SC, Wisnu, July... while we were on the dinner table last week, I feel left out! :( I wanna be like u working people!!! ah. -_-

Though it wasn't what I expected... but...hmm quite satisfied lah... It was tiring, what's wrong with me... getting tired easily lately... After classes on Friday - Ryan, SC & I went to Outlet mall for some shopping... i tell ya, the guys can shop -_- Toques, clothings, gloves... Me got myself a wallet from Guess... cheap cheap happy happy... Always wanted a small one, for convenience sake... hehehe

Just wanna post this pic up... both SC & Ryan got the same jacket from ze ROOTS CA... but different colors... i LIKE! ahem ahem
After shopping, got home & change.. and off to St. Denis Centre. Both the guys went for bball, while i "initially" planned to go to the gym.... but..... there's always a but :þ sigh, blame it on myself... I was tired... very tired. After SDC, I suggested McDs for dinner. damn, no gym, but McDs. It has been a long time since i had McDs... moreover it was Filet O' Fish day!!!! best of da best.

Woke up in the afternoon on Saturday... lazed around, & off we went to the mall for AeonFlux. What can i say, I slept almost half the movie... haha. was it just me, or was the movie really boring?... mmmmmm Got home at about 1am, after dinner cum supper @ China Garden... Zzzz without much hesitation ehehe

Went to the Casino for buffet dinner on Sunday. The price for the buffet lunch and buffet dinner are different. The buffet lunch price ends at 5pm with $14.99++ and the buffet dinner starts @ 5pm with $17.99++. SC's landlord suggested, u start queuing up at 4.30pm to pay for $14.99 and stay on for the buffet dinner. hah. for some lil circumstances, we did not reach on time... when we got to the counter to pay, it turned out to be $22.99++ per person for the buffet o_O ahhh we missed out the lil pathetic board which says
$17.99++ for Mondays through Fridays
&
$22.99++ for Weekends
sigh. It wasn't that fantastic. but sure I makan like nobody's business anwyz :þ

It has been quite sometime ey... It's just those days when the mood wasn't there to blog... hehe... Nothing much actually... besides my lil busy life in school... and some "social obligations" lol... now that's SC's term. Weather is a bother. sighz... cold cold cold~~~ Wish it was summer!
We had a lil gathering 2 nights back... Mw cooked some malaysian food... YUMMY! (Of coz, with Winnie, da co-chef heeehe) We had Satayyyy, Mee siammm, tomyam chickyyy, fried chickyyy, vegetarian dishhh, and most importantlyyy, ASAM LAKSAAA.... eh Malaysian, and abit of Thai food lah... with the mee siam and tomyam thingy... June & Cindy mama, u both missedddd it! ok shoot, both of u can enjoy the REAL of da REAL food back home -_- aihz... but, yeah missing u both! & Wisnu... who enjoys food as much as all of us do... u missed it too!
ah, speaking of u guys... missing all of u so much! windsor is getting very quiet... There's a lil feeling in me, can't describe it... with Wisnu, June & Cindy mama as da real working ppl now... and with SC & Ryan preparing to leave school... with all da coverletters & resumes everyday... Feels kinda scary... I finally felt it! 5 months back, I remember one of my posts that I can't wait to leave school and work... Now i really doubt so... One more sem and I am done. Been through some relationship experiences in life... I sure finally realize the differences in each individual... Perhaps some of us have been expecting too much in a certain something... not knowing, the truth is we have to keep it low most of the time.

I always thought I was right, not in an offending way... but more to a i-have-my-reasons way... but get to think of it, my reasons may not be right/reasonable/make sense at times...

Received some article from my cousin not long ago... and so i learnt that... arguing, reasoning, and trying to talk them into feeling different or doing different never works. Arguments lead to no where... though many ppl in life do have that arguments-are-healthy thinking.... but... it really isn't your advantage, it's a dumb thing to do. Besides that, to many of us, pessimism is quite an influence... quit the pressures... quit the whinings...

There are many regrets in life... stuffs which I don't ever want them to happen again... It can be tiring sometimes... but the big question mark is... how can i accomplish that for the very last time?... [we need to talk]

After German exam today... I decided to go home instead of going for lunch with Ryan & MW. Ryan dropped me off at the traffic light... As I was on my way walking back to my house... this Blacky... went up to me... and politely asked "Hey, have u got any money?"... I wasn't afraid at all, I thought he was just asking bcoz he really needed some money. I said "no" anyways... & the next thing i know... he pushed me hard... and no surprise lah, i fell on the ground (grass). He then walked away. -_-

I wanted to scream. But, what's the use, i thought. He's double my height anwyz. ok i'm exaggerating again. Just friggin' tall lah. Walked home feeling fearful. Still can't believe it happened to me today. sigh.

1) I officially anti my street. Randolph Ave. Bad memories.
2) I should've went for lunch with Ryan & MW.

This post is dedicated to June... who'd left Canada for good... Feels different without you around... How much we'd went through ever since we moved into 554 Askin... the screaming moments, bitching moments, laughing moments, emotional moments, pissed-off moments, meal outings in windsor & Toronto... "wake-up wake-up!" mornings, Cooking days in our pathetic kitchen, iron-chef sessions with food gobbling in our mouths, shopping in Dmall/Outlet/A&P/Wal-mart/Yorkdale/T&T/PMall-_-... Summer days... Winter days... everyday was worth to be remembered for life...

& so we left for Toronto on Friday evening... I would put it as a very short & sad trip this time... (sorry wisnu, we did not manage to call ya... though we really wanna meet up with u... but time was short)

And so i saw a few celebrities in a night... Was at 1Utama with my family for dinner and my bro told me Jackie Chan's in town to promote his new movie The Myth. happyhappy suddenly 1Utama was filled with so many ppl on a monday nite... I have always loved his movies! all of them... "childhood idol"... Still is hehe.... So i was bullshitting many ppl that he gave me a kiss... but this is actually all i got... a pathetic picture... (for being friggin far far away.... for being friggin short.... suddenly i wish i was 100 inches taller! ><)

Have been waiting for this day for sometime hehe... A big task of mine for my brother's wedding... It's the so called 'announcement' of the couple's betrothal.

To represent the groom's family, my brother, aunt (dad's eldest sis) and myself went to the bride's home to exchange family credentials as *tokens of intention*. We presented betrothal gifts of money and items such as mooncake, fruits, wine and a pair of traditional chinese candle for the night before the wedding day.

Then, the bride's family reciprocate, with gifts - including some returns such as fruits, drinks and an angpow for the groom's family. Others include a set of bridal linen and teapot set (for the tea ceremony) in red wrappings for the bride... [damn traditional lah!!] and also an angpow for the groom (for my brother to buy a new belt, wallet and pants) [Confusing eh... What a tradition!! Lots to learn.... Lots to learn.....]

I guess we've had a satisfying & simple ceremony... not anywhere near of the "elaborated" customs... If not, my mom would probably go haywire.. hehe... More stories of the wedding preperations & procedures to come!!

I wanted some good treatment on my very damaged hair. [There goes my long straight healthy hair dream] Wanted it so badly, the hair stylist ended up persuading me into wavy curls at the bottom of my hair. I had much doubts in the beginning... but the pic she showed was so friggin tempting. I knew i was gonna regret.

It obviously did not turn out like what she showed me from the pic. I look weird. If i were to cut it off, :

1) My effort & patience in leaving & maintaining it till this length will be dump into the bin. Just like that.
2) Big damage in mummy's purse. no no way
3) Winnie in really short hair, after 7 years :/

If i'm just gonna leave it as it is, :

Left Windsor on Saturday noon... Took Robert-Q to Toronto, boring journey as usual... all i could remember was Highway 401 hehe... Reached Toronto at about 4.45pm... That was the worst feeling ever... Felt a lil lost... and lonely... and that my flight was only at 8.25pm... and since i was not at the International terminal... ahh... sad story. Boring place with nothing to do.
Air Canada wasn't that bad. Probly coz i slept throughout the journey from Toronto to LA... too tired to do and evaluate anything. Reached LA at 10+... I got lost! No friggin anybody could tell me where the Malaysian Airlines counter is. I hate them. Why can't they take a lil attempt to friggin find out for me? all they could answer me is "We have no idea. Sorry..." Like wtf la. Suddenly i realize i was in the domestic flights terminal... and that I should go to Terminal B for international flights. Took a long walk to the next terminal... The first thing i saw when i reach there was a gang of MAS crews... that was when i was in GREAT relieve.
Checked in and stuff... waited for some time to board the plane... was too blur to remember much. The journey throughout was sad... Just sad. Though i was really looking forward to go home. But i'm just sad. sob.
Finally reached KLIA at 12.05pm Monday. Got down the plane and headed straight to get tobacco at the duty free store. They all ran out of Marlboro Lights. Had to run around to find marlboro lights. Frustrating. [No i don't smoke] Spent too much time hunting, and finally rushed to the baggage claim area. I had this stoopid feeling earlier in the plane that one of my luggage will get lost. This superb feeling. And my feelings were NEVER wrong. Yes, one of my luggage did not turn up. woah. Friggin depress. Went to lodge a complain. And there they told me the luggage bag is still in LA. How possible izit for them to MISS out one friggin luggage bag. and MY luggage bag?! Damn bad luck.
I'm finally back home... Still feeling abit jet lag. Bad running nose due to the change of everything. The weather is just as bad. The food is just as good. hehe Hectic 26 days... Thought I am supposed to rest and relax when i come home. but..... nope. Nope nope. I really wish.
Now i really miss Windsor.
But i bet I will change my thinking in 25 days.

1) I have a major injury...
or at least, kinda major for me... After gym yesterday with June, we went to meet Ryan & SC at the basketball court... Since there was an extra ball, June & I played on an empty court... it was pretty fun until my very last shot... I don't even remember what happened, the next thing i know my lil finger hurts shit. That was when my mood totally changed because the pain this time is just... different. After showering and etc., I realize my finger looked a lil too huge for my lil hand. Started of with greenish black... then blue black... and now.... BLACK. I am not happy about it.
In conclusion, I will anti basketball for some time. for giving me this....

2) I went for clubbing...
Yesterday was the night, since we're all on holidayz... we decided to partyyyy. Our initial plan was to 29 Park... but the line was so friggin long... we were practically wasting our time lining up to get in. And the worst thing is, the line wasn't moving at all. Really testing our patience. That was already about 12am... We couldn't wait any longer, and decided on another bar. We went to Dean Martini's... not as classy as i thought... with some bunch of no sense horny retards... and some Ah peks & Ah sams... [they should really just enjoy a cuppa coffee at the cafe nearby, no offence] The music was... not so good lah. shouldn't complain so much right. Bars in lil Windsor are nothing compared to the ones in KL... But i was happy, i get to drink my shot... B-52... or they call it China White. Love it.
In conclusion, I am not a hardcore clubber anymore. I only prefer to sit. and drink. somewhere with better music. somewhere with people who mind their own business. I am not that friendly if I don't know u. I bite.

I have noticed a lack of manners and respect by many people today... Whether to the elders, in relationships, or just merely friends... I choose to believe that mutual respect forms the foundation of many important relationships in life... and... With 'people' who don't use socially acceptable manners convey a total turn off! Some may think that they are cute. Some may find them funny. Some may take them as immature... or simply have no sense at all...
And how much respect do u get from anyone at all...? and i always thought that was important. But i guess not. But the key point would always be "Those who respect others will be eligible to be respected". Sometimes i wonder what message do I send to people with my own behavior.

We decided to bake Brownies... since Cindy has a box of brownie mix... Though I wanted very much to bake a cake, but I did not have the equipments... cake mixer etc... Was too lazy to go borrow from a friend.
I figured that one box of brownie mix may not be enough, so we went to Shoppers D. Mart to get another...
It was fun baking... especially when it turned out a success! heheheeee.....

Ryan, June, SC & I spent our weekend in Toronto... we sure had a great time... Main purpose was to go to Paramount Canada's Wonderland, since we did not get to go during our previous trip... It was indeed a memorable trip... going on rides I never ever thought I'll have the guts to... & the water park.....LURVE IT!...
Left on Friday morning... did not get much sleep the night before... as i was busy cleaning the house after a lil gathering on Thursday night... and also packing... Though only a '3-days' trip... but it sure seems like there's alot to pack aiseh... When i was done, i realize it was already 5.40am... & when i was supposed to give SC a wake up call at 5.30am.. We were planning to leave at 6am... but as expected, Ryan & June were not on time :p... They finally came at about 6.40am... Crazy journey as Ryan's a/c wasn't working well...
Hot+suffocating+not enough sleep = Not in a very good mood.
Reached Toronto at about 12pm i think... headed straight to our hotel... ok so called "hotel"... checked in and called up Farzan & Jenn (June's housemate) to meet up in Wonderland. A hot sunny day. HOT! HOT! HOT! Perfect. Huge place, unfortunately we weren't able to play all the rides... as time was short... Anwyz, all I can say is, it was superb. Definitely wanna go there again!!
Other times were spent on shopping, Korean Food, Malaysian Food, China Town, meeting up with Kerman & Wisnu, bubble Tea and moreee shopping... I love toronto! Here are some pics for viewing... Not so thrilled bout my NEW TAN skin & my "charn" look... Lack of sleep weh................... Enjoy~

"I, shall cook ur dinner tonight" MunWai-my housemate said to me while we were out for grocery shopping. For once, I do not have to eat my own food... I realize my cooking sucks. It's getting worse. no joke.
He was busy preparing his ingredients and i realize, he's gonna make his *incredible burger*... which everyone loved... the last time he made the burger, I didn't manage to try... coz I was too full. finally, today's the day. I was patiently waiting, & at the same time chatting with Warren online. Finally he shouted for me... the burger is ready. and i tell ya, the burger was HUGE. the meat... is like, twice of BigMac lah. it was his lil secret recipe... but i figured it was made out of minced beef, cheese, ah SINFUL cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and some weird leaves. To complete my burger, i added mayo, margerine, cucumber and lettuce. wow. i was stuffed. But I am proud to say I had Burger-mw-King tonight for dinner. it was a killer.

I am the bimbo-est Bimbo in the entire world. I have a film review assignment due tomorrow at 6pm. Was given a few movies to choose. Thelma & Louise, Calendar Girls, and ok... I dont remember the others. I am supposed to relate the terms i learnt in class to the movie. This sucks shit. I hate writing... To be more specific, I hate crapping. Coz most of the time, it doesn't make sense. and that means, higher chance for me to not get higher marks. Sigh. I tried downloading Thelma & Louise since a week before... Took so friggin long, finally it was done 2 days back. I know I should watched it earlier. But I had other things to do... So i thought I will leave it for today... I have the whole Wednesday to watch and write. I came back from class at 2.30pm today. Ok i should really start working on my assignment. WHERE DA HELL is the movie? the files are goneeeeee! GONE GONE GONE. shitz i started to panic. got mw to help me find in my comp. i'm quite a comp idiot anwyz. And suddenly, i remembered... yesterday i thought, since finish downloading already, i didn't wanna upload it. So i clicked on Remove task & All files button... don't ask me why i did that. I DON'T KNOW! Btw, I was using BitLord to dl lah. By right, I was supposed to click on Remove task only button. sigh I'm so screwed. assignment is due tomorrow. and it takes 7 bloody days to download that stupid movie. WHAT ELSE CAN I DO? Cindy figured I should just go rent the dvd from Blockbuster. I checked online, and it says one copy available. It was quite a hassle to open an account in Blockbuster. needed a few ids and blablabla. but i had no choice. went ALL the way to Blockbuster, the movie was rented out. Man how unlucky can i get??? I just didn't know what to do. stood there for sometime, and suddenly I saw Calendar Girls. phew. But i got to know that, there are 2 versions. one was out in 1984 or something, and the other 2003. WHICH one am i supposed to watch huh??? Since the prof did not state specifically... so don't care lah. I got the 2003 one. sigh. i hate myself. and again, everythingz all last minute. sigh. I'd better start watching. ta-taz for now :(

Just got back from BBt with Nato & SC... Had some open conversation bout relationships... the good ones + the bad ones... Funny to know how guys think at times... just totally the opposite than we expect. However to be true enough, I actually felt good after chatting with them... How strong should I really be when dealing with Long Distance Relationship... or, should i just let go if i'd lost my confidence... Being in a LDR is definitely challenging and tough at times, or maybe at most times. Perhaps many of u are surviving... and some, got even stronger. I am still uncertain... or rather confused... or am i just being pessimistic about stuff...? Perhaps each of our circumstances are different, but i believe we all share the same question in mind- How can we keep the love alive? Got this from some site while i was casually browsing... To think about it, have i really accomplished all that? Does it really work? *thinking hard*

I haven't been blogging for the past month i guess... Since my Winter semester ended, I have not been doing much... took a break just lazing around... went to Toronto with June, Ryan & SC... was quite a nice trip... but i wish it was "better"...

My new semester just started 2 weeks back. Pretty free this sem, as i only have 3 subjects... Most importantly, I am really looking forward to go home this August... 2 months plus and still counting!! i miss my family... and the food too! waiting..waiting..

Went for a movie with Cindy on Saturday... we watched Madagascar... It was rather a simple show, yet really entertaining. I personally think it's better than Shark Tale or Shrek... Yeah Cindy, i didn't really notice during the movie, but it really kept me thinking if a zebra is white with black stripes, or black with white stripes LoL...

Getting back on my assignment. till then... ta-taZz!
